The formulations are led by Darina, a food engineer and cosmetic scientist with over forty years of experience. Every product is built around botanical extracts, homemade flower teas, and carefully blended essential oils — the kind of ingredients that make a difference you can actually feel. The packaging is considered and minimal. The products look right on a shelf and feel right in the hand.

And then there is the story. MAMO was named after my mother and her mother before her. In Bulgarian, mamo is the word you call out when you need her. In Irish, mamó means grandmother. The name carries both, because the feeling is the same in every language. Customers pick it up, ask about it, and buy it for someone they love. That is not something you manufacture.

It sells across the year, not just at Mother's Day. It sells to people who read the label, remember the name, and come back for the next occasion — and the one after that.
