General Information
What are the ingredients used in your products?
Our products are crafted with only the finest natural ingredients. We use homemade infusion oils, fresh herbal teas, premium artisan fragrance oils, and high-quality, sustainable soy, coconut and rapeseed wax. All ingredients are selected for their beneficial properties and sustainability. Some soaps include honey and goat milk for added nourishment, but our products are cruelty-free, and we label each item to help you identify vegan options.
Are your products cruelty-free?
Yes, our entire line is cruelty-free. None of our products or ingredients are tested on animals, and we maintain high ethical standards throughout our sourcing and production processes.
Is everything vegan?
While all products are cruelty-free, some of our soaps include animal-derived ingredients like honey and goat milk. These ingredients are known for their nourishing qualities and are ethically sourced. Vegan products are clearly labelled so you can choose what’s best for you.

Is your home fragrance collection safe to use around pets?
Our candles and wax melts are made from natural ingredients, including eco, natural wax, essential oils and paraben and phthalate-free fragrance oils. However, as with all scented products, we recommend using them in a well-ventilated space and keeping pets and small children away from the product during use.
Candles
What wax do you use in your candles?
Our candles are crafted with 100% soy wax sourced from Chorley, Lancashire, UK. Soy wax is plant-based, renewable, and burns cleanly, allowing you to enjoy the scent without worrying about harmful chemicals.
What wicks do you use?
We use cotton wicks sourced from Germany. These wicks are unbleached, free from metals, and designed to work beautifully with soy wax for a steady, clean burn.
Why does my candle top look bumpy or frosted?
This is a natural feature of soy wax. Bumpy tops or a “frosted” appearance is common and doesn’t affect the candle’s performance. It simply shows the natural qualities of soy wax, which tends to cool unevenly.
My candle is tunnelling – what can I do?
Tunnelling happens when the wax around the edges doesn’t melt evenly. On the first burn, let the wax melt fully to the edges. If tunnelling occurs, wrap a piece of foil around the candle’s rim and let it burn for a few hours; this should help even out the wax.
Does a candle lose its scent over time?
While our candles are formulated for a long-lasting scent, fragrance oils can naturally fade over time, especially if exposed to direct sunlight or heat. Store candles in a cool, dry place to keep the fragrance at its best.
Why is there discoloration inside my candle jar?
Discoloration is a natural effect of the wax and fragrance interacting over time. It doesn’t affect the performance or safety of the candle.
Can I burn my decorative pillar candle?
Yes, our decorative candles are designed to be functional and beautiful! For the best results, place them on a heat-resistant surface and let the first burn melt fully to the edges to avoid tunnelling.
Why does my decorative candle have wax drips?
Decorative pillar candles may develop natural drips as they burn, especially if there’s a slight draft. This adds a unique touch to each candle, giving it a more natural look.
I accidentally cut my cotton wick too short, and now it won’t light – what should I do?
No problem! Let the wax cool and gently scoop a bit of it out around the wick base. This should expose enough wick to light it again.
What is “frosting,” and why does it happen?
“Frosting” is a natural, white crystallization effect that can appear on soy wax candles. It’s simply a sign of the natural properties of soy and doesn’t affect the candle’s burn or scent.
What’s the importance of using candles free from phthalates and parabens?
Phthalates and parabens are commonly used chemicals that can release potentially harmful substances when burned. Our candles use premium fragrance oils that are paraben- and phthalate-free, allowing you to enjoy a safe and clean burn.
Wax Melts
How do I use wax melts?
Place a wax melt in your warmer and let it melt slowly, releasing its fragrance into your space. Replace the melt once the scent fades.
Is there a difference between an electric warmer and a tealight warmer?
Yes. Electric warmers provide a more even heat and steady scent release, while tealight warmers can produce a stronger scent throw but may require more monitoring. Both work beautifully with our melts!
How do I change the wax melts in my warmer?
To change wax melts, let the wax cool and harden, then gently pop it out of the warmer. You can also remove it by warming the base slightly and using a paper towel to wipe out the softened wax.
What’s the best way to store wax melts?
Keep your wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their scent. Our packaging is designed to maintain freshness.
They look yummy! Can I eat them?
Though they smell delicious, our wax melts are not edible. They’re for fragrance only, so please keep them out of reach of children and pets.
The shimmer on my wax melt seems separated from the wax. Is that normal?
Yes, this is completely normal. The shimmer may settle slightly over time, but it will distribute evenly once melted.
I bought a sample box, but one scent seems harder to smell. Is this normal?
Some fragrances may be subtler than others. Scents like vanilla or lavender may have a softer aroma compared to stronger notes like citrus or spice. Try melting them in a smaller room for a more concentrated fragrance.
Soaps and Face Bars
What is cold-process soap, and why is it beneficial?
Cold-process soap preserves the natural glycerine produced during saponification, making it extra moisturizing. This method also retains the nutrients in our homemade infusion oils and herbal teas, providing a luxurious and nourishing cleanse.
Can I use your face bars on sensitive skin?
Our face bars are made with gentle, natural ingredients, but it’s always good to patch-test if you’re prone to sensitivities. Each bar is free from artificial additives, focusing on natural goodness.
How long does a bar of soap last?
With proper care, our soap bars can last a month or longer. Letting them dry between uses and storing them in a well-drained soap dish will help maximize their life.
Why does my soap have slight imperfections?
Each bar is handmade, so slight variations are natural. These little imperfections add to the charm and authenticity of our products!
