Bright bergamot and soft neroli with foraged Wicklow dandelion. Handmade Irish soap for hair and body.

A handmade soap for hair and body, made with dandelion flowers foraged along the Wicklow coast.

We steep the dandelion flowers in olive oil, which goes into the bar. The soap is cold-processed by hand in our Wicklow studio and cured for six weeks. Shea and cocoa butter keep skin soft, and each bar is topped with dry gorse and rose petals.

It’s good for normal to oily hair and skin, and it lathers into hair as well as it does on skin. Every bar is cut by hand, so each one is slightly different.

What it smells like

Bright, floral and fresh. Bergamot gives a clean citrus scent, the same one you’ll know from Earl Grey tea, and neroli adds a soft orange-blossom note. Cypress, cedarwood and a little lavender sit underneath, so it feels grounded rather than sugary.

If you like citrus, orange blossom or light floral scents that aren’t heavy, this is the one.

Soap Care

Store in a dry area. Avoid direct sunlight. Natural handmade soap prefers to avoid getting soggy or sitting in water. Make sure your soap gets time to breathe in between washes and uses . 

For longer-lasting soap, keep it dry between uses. To extend the life of your handmade soap, use a draining soap dish that will keep the soap dry underneath and that drains when not in use. To help your soap last longer, store in a dry place within the bathroom and not under the shower. 

Due to natural ingredients, colors and scents may fade.  

Best use within 6 months after purchase. 

How To Use

Lather up on wet skin, then rinse thoroughly. 

*Some clays and plant powders used to color soap naturally can discolor whitewash cloths, so use a darker colored wash cloth or lather up the soap bar in your hands.
