Store your glass jar candle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Natural waxes are sensitive to temperature changes, so keeping your candle out of extreme conditions helps maintain its structure and fragrance.

To ensure your jar candle burns evenly and lasts longer, trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use. Allow the candle to burn for 2–3 hours on the first burn, until the entire surface has melted. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures a more even burn in the future. Avoid drafts while burning to prevent flickering and uneven burns. 

Because of the natural ingredients, the color and scent of your candle may fade over time. We recommend using your candle within 6 months of purchase for optimal appearance and fragrance. 

Our candles in glass jars are designed to create a warm ambiance while being practical and safe for regular burning. Follow these steps for best results: 

Placement: Place your candle on a heat-resistant, level surface away from drafts, children, and pets. The glass jar provides a safe containment, but we recommend avoiding placement on delicate surfaces. 

Trim the Wick: Trim the wick before each burn to about 5mm to prevent excessive soot and ensure a steady, even flame. 

Burn Time: For the first burn, allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the jar to prevent tunneling. Burn for up to 4 hours at a time. Extinguish and allow to cool before relighting to prolong the candle’s life. 

Extinguishing: Use a snuffer or dip the wick in melted wax to extinguish the flame without smoke. 

Post-Care: Keep the wax pool free of debris to ensure a clean, even burn. 

• Keep the candle away from flammable materials, children, and pets. 
• Do not move the candle while lit. 
• Protect Your Surfaces: Although jar candles contain wax, placing them on a heat-resistant coaster helps protect your surfaces. 
• Proper Placement: Position away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. 
• Do Not Leave Unattended: Never leave a burning candle unattended. 
• Stop Using When 1 cm of wax remains at the base to avoid overheating the glass.
